We know that often you need products quickly and aim to ensure this happens. We offer a choice of delivery options to meet your needs and keep you informed of progress.
We aim to hold all products listed in stock (if an item is out of stock this should be shown alongside the product) wherever possible to ensure you receive items quickly.
We despatch orders 5 days a week (Monday to Friday).
Orders received before 3 p.m. are despatched same day, orders received after this time are despatched the following working day.
We offer two normal despatch options depend upon the value of your order (and location as next day options are not feasible for Highlands and Islands).
1. Next Day Delivery - All orders over £25 (before VAT if added) are sent on a Next working day delivery (carrier costs for Saturday deliveries are generally prohibitive but please contact our customer services should this be required) by courier. This carries a standard charge of £4.95 for all orders under £50 and over £25.
For orders over £50 (before VAT if added) this service is FREE.
This option is not available for Highlands and Islands or Northern Ireland.
2. Standard Delivery - Orders under £25 are sent on our standard service. This is by 1st Class Royal Mail (if under 2 Kg) or a 2-3 working day service by courier depending on the weight of your order. In some cases these orders will arrive next day but we are unable to guarantee this. Due to high courier charges, all orders to Northern Ireland are charged at a flat rate of £9.95 and delivery to Highlands and Islands charged at either £14.95 or £9.95 dependent on location.
Orders over £50 (before VAT if added) to Mainland UK are despatched FREE. This is on a Next working day delivery service. This option is not available to Highlands and Islands and Northern Ireland as next day delivery is not possible to these locations, orders to these locations are despatched at normal prices.
For Orders under £50 we add a £4.95 delivery charge to cover delivery charges and packing costs. For UK Mainland orders over £25 (before VAT if added), this is a Next working day delivery, for all other orders (under £25, or Highlands and Islands) this is by 2-3 day courier or 1st class Royal Mail Post. We do not apply additional charges for larger, heavier orders.
Delivery to Northern Ireland costs £9.95 for all orders. Delivery to Highlands and Islands costs from £4.95 - £14.95 dependent on the size of the order and the location being despatched to.
If you're email address is provided you should receive confirmation of your order receipt, despatch and delivery. If your order is despatched by courier you should receive confirmation of parcel collection and courier tracking information to track progress of your parcel as well as confirmation when received.
We are very aware of the sensitive nature of your order and we ensure that discretion is maintained at all times. All deliveries are made in unmarked boxes or bags and all delivery paperwork is plain so that the contents of your package will only be known to yourself.
We know that running out of products can be a concern, but holding lots around the house can be a lot of hassle. To get the best of both worlds we'll happily set up a regular delivery (monthly or however frequently you'd like) just contact us with your requirements and we'll set this up for you.
To ensure that our couriers can deliver, the delivery address should be a full address including postcode. Due to our use of carriers we are unable to deliver to PO Box addresses which are only recognized by the post office.
There is space at checkout for you to add delivery information (e.g. requesting items to be left if you are out, left with a neighbour, etc.) whilst we pass on these instructions circumstances may mean that the courier is unable to carry out your instructions. There is a limit of 20 characters on instructions that can be passed over so please keep these brief and to the point. Any goods left are at your own risk.
If there are no specific instructions if you are out, the courier will leave a calling card at your home. You can then telephone the local depot and either re-arrange the delivery or collect yourself from the depot, within 10 working days of the first delivery. After 7 working days the parcel will be returned to our warehouse and our customer services team will contact you by email or telephone.
The majority of goods are shipped from our central warehouse; you may receive more than one delivery if for some reason an item is out of stock when ordered; you should receive notification of any delay in dispatching your items.
IMPORTANT: When signing for the delivery, if there is any damage to the box at all please sign for as "damaged" or do not accept the delivery. All items damaged in transit must be notified to us by calling 0845 0 942 742 or sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours of delivery.
The Legal Stuff
When you place an order you will receive a confirmation e-mail. This e-mail does not constitute acceptance amounting to a contract; acceptance takes place when the product is despatched, until which time Allanda are entitled to withdraw the offer.
Allanda will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery and will not be liable for any loss or damage to goods once they have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions.
