If you’ve not visited the site for a while don’t forget to look at our recent additions. In the search to bring you not just the best quality incontinence pads and pants, we’ve also found great value too and have added the Lille Disposable absorbent bed pads, Lille Stretch Support Pants (for use with shaped incontinence pads) and Lille Supreme Fit All-in-One pads. All are available in a wide variety of sizes and offer excellent value alternatives to Tena Disposable Bed pads, Kanga Care Shorts and Tena Slip Maxi respectively.

As well as adding a whole load of new Incontinence pads to our range last week, we’ve also made some changes to the website navigation, to hopefully make the shopping area standout more and also to make everything looker “cleaner”. We’d love your comments on whether you think it makes the site more appealing.
We are also now updating the customer comments on the homepage on a regular basis as we get many every week and it’s great to share them with others. We know we also make the odd mistake but we do our best to rectify any that happen as quickly as possible, and also change things to prevent re-occurrence. So if your experience isn’t as good as you expected we still want to hear from you as we want to make sure the same problems aren’t repeated.
And if you have any questions about managing Incontinence or the best pads or pant to use, please email us your questions as well. We’re here to help you.

When using traditional shaped incontinence pads, it’s recommended to use stretch support pants to hold the pad firmly in place thus reducing the risk of leakage and increasing comfort and confidence. We already offer the Kanga luxury support pants and Tena Fix support pants, and now to increase the choice available to customers even more we have added the Lille Stretch Support Pants to our range. Virtually undetectable under clothing the pants are made from a machine washable lightweight stretch polyester that is cool, soft and comfortable when worn. They are sold in packs of 5 and are available in Small, Medium, Large and X Large sizes. For more details see our website.

The UnoMedical UnoComfor is a new and completely unique innovation that replaces the bedpan/bottle and is especially useful in emergency situations when a toilet can’t be reached in time. Whether you’re in the car, out walking, in hospital or at home, if you can’t get to a toilet this single-use urinal with a one litre capacity is ideal.
Specially developed with health professionals to prevent leaks, control odours and actively reduce the risk of infection. The specially designed non-return valve seals the urine within ensuring no smell can escape. This makes it extremely discrete whether it is being used in the home, hospital or out and about. By preventing leaks and spills UnoComfor also reduces the risk of infection. There is a portion of the urinal designed to allow urine sampling and it has a tear facility in the top right corner for ease of emptying.
More information on the UnoComfor can be found on our website.

We’ve had a number of enquiries over the last six months for hand-held urinals so we’re pleased to announce that we have just added the Topper male and Cygnet female urinals to our range.
We’re strong advocates of normal toiletting where possible rather than reliance on incontinence pads or pants unless necessary and these new products are ideal for those who are bed-based or for where access to a toilet can be difficult.
Both urinals are simple to use and are calibrated for output recording. They both also contain Biocote® to inhibit growth of bacteria and fungi and thus help prevent infections and both can be autoclaved if required.
For more details on these items see the Urinals section of our website.

The news last week about the effects of poor hygiene in a hospital in Maidstone highlighted the importance of good hygiene in preventing infection and illness.
The problem of hygienically disposing of used incontinence pads can be a common one for people at home. To solve this problem we now offer a unique disposal unit. The Sangenic Twist and Seal system is a patented system that individually wraps each individual incontinence pad or pant in a fragranced anti-bacterial film, and contains them until the unit is full or when you are ready to dispose of them.
The system is available in compact (ideal where space is at a premium) or maxi (for where capacity is more important) sizes. Both share the same simple “twist and seal” system where used pads are just pushed through the anti-bacterial lid to a set point and then a simple twisting action is all that is needed to seal the pad into the film. Both use the same size of fragranced film cassettes.
For more information and to see all the products visit the Disposal Units section on our website
